Provance today announced the addition of the first phase of the new Azure Governance Integration to Provance IT Service Management. Azure Governance Integration allows IT to get visibility of individual Azure Cloud resources’ compliance to organizational policies within Provance ITSM. The governance compliance definitions are created and set within Microsoft Azure and Provance ITSM automatically syncs this compliance status, allowing IT to see if Azure Subscriptions and resources are compliant—all within a single console.
“Without organizational policies, it would be impossible to control and track whether data and systems are effectively protected,” said Per Mikkelsen, VP of Products and Partner Services at Provance.“ Provance ITSM now brings Azure resource compliance information into a single console, making it easier for IT to maintain control of Azure subscriptions and resources.”
Future capabilities of the Azure Governance Integration will include extended Azure Resource Management, Azure Monitor and Consumption.
The newest capability for Provance ITSM—Cloud Service Management for Azure—consolidates and syncs Azure subscriptions and resources within Provance ITSM, letting IT achieve faster diagnostics, quicker ticket resolution and more efficient management of services in the Cloud.
Provance ITSM is powered by Microsoft Dynamics 365® and leverages existing Microsoft investments, integrating with Microsoft management, productivity and cloud solutions such as Office 365®, Power BI™, Visual Studio Team Services, Azure security and operations management, System Center and now Microsoft Azure. With Provance ITSM, IT can take advantage of the flexibility, scalability, security and reliability of the Dynamics 365 platform.
